Reading is one of the most pleasurable and inexpensive ways to learn, travel, and escape the harshness and pressures of life. This past September, The Rev. K. Brewster Hastings, Rector of St. Anne’s Church, Abington, PA, published a collection of short stories entitled “A Certain Kind of Affection.” Each story captures moments in the lives of ordinary people as they cope with restlessness and desire. The stories invite the reader to ask the questions, “What satisfies me? Where is my peace?” The book is available for sale at all major internet booksellers, a perfect Christmas gift!”
