A Reminder to Submit Continuing Education Grant Applications
By November 26, 2014

 

The Continuing Education Committee welcomes applications from clergy, lay professionals, and lay volunteers requesting grants for continuing education programs.  Applications must be submitted and approved prior to the beginning of the programs for which support is requested.  If you are interested in a program during October, November or December of 2014, your application needs to be received at The Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania no later than Wednesday, November 26th, in order to be reviewed by the Committee.

Grant applications are due at The Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania no later than Wednesday, November 26th.  Applications received after that date may not be considered.

Grant applications and guidelines are available to download from the diocesan website at http://www.diopa.org/continuing-education and should be sent on a timely basis to:

Grant applications need to be received by the Episcopal Diocese at least two weeks prior to the meeting date of the Continuing Education Committee. Please read the Guidelines before applying, and please note that late applications may not be considered.


The following are meeting dates for the Continuing Education/Sabbatical Leave Committee:

December 11, 2014 Meeting (Deadline -  November 26, 2014)

March 12, 2015 Meeting (Deadline -  February 26, 2015)

June 11, 2015 Meeting (Deadline - May 28, 2015)

Grant applications must be approved prior to the continuing education event. In special circumstances, grant requests for $500 or less can be considered for approval at times outside the dates of committee meetings and must be submitted a month before the scheduled event.
